Eily O'Connell

Eily’s starting point is foraging around beaches, forests and any areas of natural interest to find materials that she can combine and cast into gold and silver to make beautifully detailed jewellery with gemstone and enamel accents. Growing up in the countryside of the fishing village of Killybegs on the North West coast of Ireland, sea themes are evident throughout her work. There are constant references to human manipulation of nature as Eily is concerned with our ecological impact and so tries to highlight important issues through pieces and collections.
