Very excited about my last and final show of the year in Bristol’s City Hall in Vestibules Gallery. I will be showing beside some of Bristol’s very best local makers and excited to share all their beautiful work with you. Details below about the event which runs December 17th – 21st x

Bristol’s Contemporary Christmas

Vestibules Gallery is a distinctive environment in which to display some of Bristol’s best local contemporary crafts. Nestled in Bristol’s City hall which is a grade two listed building, access if easy just off central Park Street.

This will be a unique pop up showcasing high quality crafts, all carefully curated for you. Everyone showing is a maker based in Bristol so come see what’s going on behind studio doors. There will be jewellery, textiles, silverware and ceramics on show.

Information about each maker:

Eily O Connell is a prolific contemporary jeweller nurturing nature’s dark and light side captured in fine treasures, cast in precious metals and finished with unusual stones. Her style is unique, celebrating imperfection and unique form.

Emmeline Hastings is much celebrated Contemporary Jewellery designer and maker with a background in Sculpture and work in many personal collections. Her pieces are light and wearable with mysterious patterns of gold and silver seemingly organic to the form.

Alex Mc Carthy creates beautiful contemporary ceramic pieces with a harmonious connection between surface and form. The tactile qualities of his artefacts are inspired by textures that surround us such as; tree bark, natural rocks, cracking paint and even marine life.

Anna Gravelle’s fine work goes beyond intriguing textural form and engages us in the sheer skill of the maker with her unique processes. Anna creates luxurious wall art and a range of interior furnishing fabrics and accessories that combine print and surface embellishment.

Angie Parker will bring you exclusive floor art for lovers of colour. She is an award winning weaver of rugs and exquisite, vibrant textiles derived from traditional Scandinavian rug weaving techniques
On show she will have her iconic chairs and beautiful textile rugs made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

Guests will enjoy this specially curated collection of gifts from prices ranging at £30 and upwards.

Vestibules Gallery is located within Bristol’s beautiful City Hall with an entrance just off Park street and right opposite Bristol’s beautiful 12th century cathedral.
