Emerald Lagoon earrings

These handmade earrings will have you looking twice to make sure they are not real precious emerald gemstones... For those looking for a sustainable an ethical option to mined precious gemstones. The bottom section including a crab claw holds a large shimmering quartz gemstone.

Lots of life going on in these as you would expect from an emerald lagoon. 

The top section is cast in fine silver They are cast in fine silver and as this is pure silver, it is very tarnish resistant. Then the "gemstone" has been carefully hand painted vitreous enamelled to around 800 degrees. Enamel does not fade in colour, ever! The handmade hooks are sterling silver as it is stronger for extra  durability. 

All work handmade and enamelled by Eily in her Bristol based artist studio so please allow for slight variations to each pair.
