The top is like a clear gemstone that fell into some bioluminescent algae and absorbed the natural glowing phenomenom. The bottom blue pear shape holds an aquamarine gemstone.
These earrings are cast in fine silver and as this is pure silver, it is very tarnish resistant. Then the "gemstones" have been carefully hand painted vitreous enamelled to around 800 degrees. Enamel does not fade in colour, ever! The handmade hooks are 9ct gold gold as it is stronger for extra durability.
All work handmade and enamelled by Eily in her Bristol based artist studio so please allow for slight variations to each pair.
