Sapphire waves

These sapphire waves earrings have lots of texture of details in them. The royal blue enamelled bottom section will trick your eye into thinking it's a very large sapphire gemstone!

The top is a bark textured 9 carat yellow gold part with 8 blue sapphires set like waves.  The bottom is royal blue pear shape and holds a sapphire gemstone. 

The bottom part of these earrings are cast in fine silver and as this is pure silver, it is very tarnish resistant. Then the "gemstones" have been carefully hand painted vitreous enamelled to around 800 degrees. Enamel does not fade in colour, ever! The handmade hooks are 9ct gold gold as it is stronger for extra  durability. 

All work handmade and enamelled by Eily in her Bristol based artist studio so please allow for slight variations to each pair.

Each treasure will arrive with you in custom black boxes that have a gold foil logo. All boxes are recycled as is all business cards and postcards that are also included.
